52 years ago a very cute hippy girl came into my photography studio and very excitedly told me that she and her friends had given up drugs and instead had fallen in love with Jesus! "We just came back from L.A. We were baptized in the ocean!!!
It was 1970 and the beginning of the famous Jesus Revolution.(Check out the recent movie) It was real and positively infectious and very soon I joined them in their quest to follow Him. It never wore off!
"Love One Another" Jesus told his disciples. This Blog is my attempt to show how we can all do that simply by listening to peoples stories and reacting with compassion and understanding.
Not all passengers are willing to talk. Many just do business calls and simply have no time to engage. Some don't speak English. However, there are always some people willing to open up and they make it all worthwhile.
Only a few agree to be filmed but there is always a way to connect even if they aren't on film. Almost everybody thanks me for giving them 'Hope" .
Many receive a book, Many give handshakes and hugs. They often say" You made my day", to which I reply "And you made mine". Loving One Another is a special kind of high. No drugs involved.
I created that explanation video 6 years ago. The 2nd video is a copy of a TV segment that KTVU in Oakland did of me as a driver from that same time.
Health, speaking, finances and Covid put "driving me happy "on the sidelines. It's fun to be back! Stay tuned!
